About this role:
The Strategic Imaging Manager (SIM) will report directly to the Strategic Imaging National Manager (SIM) and will be primarily responsible for sales of Boston’ Scientific’s single use imaging platform. The SIM will be responsible for sales performance and execution, as well as identifying, developing and maintaining strong relationships the customer. The customer is defined as anyone responsible in the buying process for single use imaging; this includes senior executives and C-level personnel.
Your responsibilities will include:
• Work closely with the Endoscopy GI and Surgical Airway sales teams on strategy and tactics related to all imaging products.
• Responsible for revenue and expense budgets
• Complete required training with documentation
• Support a work environment of continuous improvement that supports BSC’s Quality Policy, Quality System and the appropriate regulations for the area they support
• Integrate individual SIM plans into GI and SAE territory plans and account profiles into a broader national and regional sales plan
• Responsible for developing, implementing and monitoring a targeting program
• Participate in the determination of market potential
• Identify sales forecast gaps, submit corrective strategies and implement aggressive sales growth utilizing Salesforce
• Maintain knowledge of the industry and the competition, continually seeking information from physicians, suppliers and others to challenge, modify and prioritize national and regional strategies and prepares their team to counter the competition
• Attend and participate in customer, company and industry sponsored forums and courses in local, regional and national capacity
• Ensures the effective implementation of representative customer records, key contacts, reports and company policies
• Responsible for the proper maintenance of organization equipment
• Continually partner with the Strategic Imaging Marketing team, as well as all applicable Product Franchise and Customer Education Leadership teams
• Develop and maintain relationships with key BSC functional areas within both, the GI Endoscopy National Accounts team and Endoscopy Sales Management as it relates to contract negotiations involving all products within the imaging portfolio call point
Minimum Qualifications:
• Must have minimum of 3-6+ years of successful and relevant endoscopy and/or imaging medical sales experience
• Must have a high level of understanding of the endoscope ecosystem.
• Previous sales management strongly preferred.
• Previous market development management strongly preferred.
• Salesforce trained and experienced ideal.
• Experience related to internal functions and departments (i.e. – Marketing, R&D, etc.)
• Bachelor’s degree required.
