The Department of Pediatrics at the Children’s Hospital at Montefiore (CHAM) seeks an accomplished physician educator to lead the Pediatric Residency Program at the Children’s Hospital at Montefiore in The Bronx, New York City. Under the leadership of Michael D. Cabana, M.D., M.P.H., Physician-in-Chief at CHAM and The Michael I. Cohen, M.D., University Chair, Department of Pediatrics at Albert Einstein College of Medicine, the Department maintains continuous research, teaching, and clinical care missions, as well as a long history of social pediatrics and advocacy.
U.S. News & World Report ranks the Children’s Hospital at Montefiore (CHAM) as one of the best in the nation for the 15th year in a row. CHAM also continues to be one of the top five children’s hospitals in the New York region. CHAM is the pediatric University Hospital for Albert Einstein College of Medicine and cares for approximately 8,000 inpatients each year at their state-of-the-art facility. The Pediatric Emergency Department has over 50,000 visits per year.
Candidate qualifications include board certification in Pediatrics and/or a Pediatric subspecialty with clinical training in pediatrics and a minimum of three years of experience in educational program leadership.
