Job Description

Kelly Science has a great opportunity for a Medical Lab Technician in Liverpool NY for one of our growing clients. This is a direct hire opportunity with room for growth and long term job stability.

Shift:2nd

Location: Liverpool NY

Salary: $70,000-$75,000/year

Medical Laboratory Technician

Blood Bank/Transfusion Medicine is AABB Accredited. It supports Level 1 Trauma Centers for Adults and Pediatric patients as well as transplant solid organ and stem cell , Seidman Cancer Center Inpatient and Ambulatory Infusion Care, Apheresis Center, Sickle Cell Program, Maternal Fetal Medicine, and multiple Intensive Care units.

Duties:
• Performs high and moderate complexity testing with high degree of skill and proficiency.
• Follows all hospital policies and procedures consistently.
• Assists on projects and takes on additional tasks as needed under supervision

Requirements:
• A Medical Technologist must possess an B.S. Degree in Medical Technology or related field
• Proven interpersonal and communication skills, ability to adapt to changing workload and stressful situations
• CERTIFICATION REQUIREMENTS BLS AHA STATE LICENSE REQUIREMENTS
