The Project Manager position is a great opportunity to develop management skills in support of high visibility cases for the Department of Justice. You will gain invaluable litigation experience managing cases as they go through all or some of the phases of the EDRM spectrum, from intake/acquisition of documents and data through trial support, cases and investigations.
For this specific position, the Project Manager will support various litigation matters within the U.S. Attorney’s Office, Southern District of New York namely managing e-discovery projects in support of the USAO mission.

More About the Role:
The Project Manager serves as the client’s on-site point of contact for litigation support projects. Will have frequent contact with the client, other parties to the project and CACI management for the purpose of communicating status of the projects throughout each life cycle. Responsible for planning and managing all support for the project including monitoring workflow, progress reporting, identifying and assigning staff, providing technical/data processing support, and obtaining other required resources. Performs an active quality assurance role to ensure high quality work is delivered on time. Ensures that proper security is maintained overall project materials, in accordance with client security procedures. Coordinates with other Contractor components to deliver project support. • Receive significant task management experience through the oversight and delivery of quality work within strict deadlines in support of DOJ’s mission.
• Review and analyze electronic data to determine how to process and upload to Relativity.
• Creation of load files for upload of data to Relativity.
• Meet with case teams regarding upcoming deadlines for production and trial and advise as to how to complete their requests.
• Perform searches in Relativity for production and review.
• Train attorney’s and paralegals on using Relativity, Eclipse and other related software.
• Enhance your management and communication skills by interacting with your CACI team and the DOJ case teams during the planning and execution of project requirements, schedules, and all litigation support activities.
• Monitor work and report on progress.
• Ensure that work meets contract and attorney requirements and is delivered on time.
• Troubleshoot and perform quality control spot-checks.
• Formulate administrative and technical procedures for getting the work done.
• Report to E-Discovery Project Coordinator; have significant contact with COR, Government Case Manager, trial attorneys and staff, client agency staff, and opposing counsel.
• Design and develops systems and procedures for tracking, controlling, and managing case files, exhibits, and other case-specific materials.
• Coordinate with other Contractor support components, including data processing support staff, in order to accomplish work.
You’ll Bring These Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree.
• At least four years of litigation support experience, including trial experience.
• Supervisory experience, including proven capabilities and communication skills to successfully interact with clients and attorneys.
• Sound working knowledge of federal and state court system, legal research procedures, and legal research resources.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.
• Hands-on familiarity with a variety of computer applications, including word processing, databases (such as document review and file management systems), spreadsheets, and imaging.
• Ability to consistently deliver highest quality work under extreme pressure, in a deadline driven, fast-paced environment.
• Customer-focused, congenial, professional, can do attitude for working with staff and government clients.
These Qualifications Would be Nice to Have:
• eDiscovery experience with Relativity, Eclipse and other eDiscovery tools used throughout the EDRM process and demonstrated ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously, similar to the duties and responsibilities described above.Advanced analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Certifications and/or completed training courses in project management, eDiscovery, or other litigation support subject matter areas.

The proposed salary range for this position is:
$82,600.00 – $169,300.00
