Interventional Radiology Technologist – Days

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Interventional Radiology Technologist- to join our team. In this role, you will work on OR procedures assisting Radiologists including handling/operating equipment and instruments during cases in addition to patient and tray prep. While this is a technical position with no supervisory responsibility, you will play a critical role in maintaining our premier level of quality, in support of a world-class clinical team. Join us. The shift for this position is 11am-7pm, plus on-call responsibilities as per department needs. Location is our Columbia campus in Upper Manhattan/Washington Heights.
Required Criteria
• High School Diploma or GED
• Graduate AMA approved school of radiology
• New York State licensure in Radiography and certified by New York State to inject contrast media
• American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) certification in Radiography, or certification by the American Society of Radiologic Technologists (ASRT) for any employee who has current ASRT certification as of November 2022. Maintains continuing education credits per ARRT requirements, or ASRT, if applicable. All employees hired into this role beginning in February 2023 must have and maintain ARRT certification in Radiography.
• For IR/INR/Vascular Surgery OR: American Registry of Radiologic Technologists certification in Vascular Interventional Radiography (VI). Maintains continuing education credits per American Registry of Radiologic Technologists requirements. If not held, current employees must obtain certification within 18 months of Last Reviewed date (as stated on page one). New Employees: ARRT certification in Vascular Interventional Radiography (VI) must be obtained within 18 months of start date as an Interventional Radiology Technologist
• Minimum of one year experience in Diagnostic Imaging
• Proficient in EMR, RIS, PACS, Modality specific software
• Must be willing to respond, if needed, for emergency examinations when available
• Must complete 3 month department modality specific evaluation

$43.87-$55.54/Hourly
