The Manager, Internal Communications will be an integral member of the Danaher communications team. In this role, you will serve as the primary communications resource on projects that advance key strategic initiatives. You will provide strategic support to colleagues by developing and executing robust communication plans leveraging a range of channels and tactics including branded emails, webcasts, videos, and content for Danaher’s intranet and all-associate publications.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
• Work with key stakeholder groups to build clear communications strategies and plans.
• Manage, execute, and oversee performance of multiple projects/stakeholders simultaneously, ensuring quality work, plan creation and execution aligned to goals.
• Understand and execute the broader communications strategy with stakeholder groups.
• Demonstrate strong storytelling/writing excellence when crafting communications.
• Create engaging and impactful content, including newsletters, memos, emails, intranet articles, videos, presentations, and other communication materials.
• Manage and maintain internal communication channels and platforms, such as intranet, employee newsletters, collaboration tools, and digital signage systems.
• Support development and execution of communications tactics including branded emails, videos, resource guides, FAQs, talking points, script development, webcast management/coordination, and web/intranet copywriting.
• Ability to reach different audiences with tailored messages, leveraging multiple channels.
• Manage end-to-end creation and execution of key webcasts – including content creation, show flow development, speaker selection/prep and logistics.
• Ensure all communications align with the Danaher brand, purpose, and core values.
• Understand new/emerging communications tactics and technologies designed to improve digital platforms), in person channels, content development and publishing.
• Manage the flow of relevant communications materials delivered through a variety of channels to 80,000+ global Danaher associates.
• Define and track key performance indicators (KPIs) and collect feedback from employees through surveys, focus groups, and other feedback mechanisms.
• Analyze data to measure the impact of communication efforts/identify improvement areas.

Preferred Qualifications
You must be an excellent and articulate communicator, intellectually curious and have a strong work ethic. You should be an independent thinker and self-starter with the bandwidth to multitask, prioritize and work on several key projects at a given time. You must have the ability to participate in spirited give-and-take discussions about your work. It is important that you have superior interpersonal and influencing skills with an ability to work with people at multiple levels.

• Strong creative capability to transform messages into compelling executions that drive action

• Strong project management skills, with a proven ability to move forward communications initiatives in a global, matrixed environment.
• The ability to take very technical ideas and concepts and put them into common language that is understandable by a general audience.
• A creative, state-of-the-art communications mindset – a professional who understands emerging technologies and has a passion for exploring new methods.
• Global project management expertise and a familiarity working in a global corporation with multiple lines of business and a multi-generational workforce.
• Exceptional storytelling, writing, editing and presentation skills.
• A strong attention to detail, superior time management and organizational skills.
• Comfort working in a high-energy, quickly changing and demanding environment.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Communications, Journalism or English required.
• Minimum 5-6 years of related or relevant work experience in large, global organizations
• Availability to travel as needed – estimated at 10%

The salary range for this role is $90,000 – 120,000. This is the range that we in good faith believe is the range of possible compensation for this role at the time of this posting. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range. This range may be modified in the future. This job is also eligible for bonus/incentive pay.
