Olo is looking for a highly motivated Accounting Manager with a positive attitude to support our corporate accounting team. This role will be responsible for oversight of accounting operations and supporting the general accounting team.
Reporting to the Accounting Director, you will oversee the accounts payable and accounts receivable functions, assist with various general accounting activities, and establish and document accounting processes and best practices. The ideal candidate will have experience in both a public accounting firm and working within the SaaS industry. In addition, the candidate will have a strong working knowledge of U.S. GAAP, internal controls, and experience working with auditors.
You can work remotely from anywhere in the U.S. or at Olo’s headquarters in NYC.
What You’ll Do
• Supervise and review accounting work performed by the Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable teams.
• Establish and implement a process for analyzing and collecting past due balances.
• Lead and manage the Procure to Pay process, developing and tracking key metrics and overseeing Coupa system.
• Assist with the exploration and implementation of an Accounting ERP system.
• Assist with the implementation and monitoring of internal controls.
• Drive process improvements and automation efforts to streamline accounting operations and improve the quality of our monthly close.
• Assist with annual audit and tax requests to ensure filings are completed in an accurate and timely manner.
• Support management on ad-hoc analysis and projects as needed.
What We’ll Expect From You
• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting
• CPA certified
• 6-7 years of relevant experience in both public accounting and industry
• Experience in SAAS and related industry
• Excellent verbal and written client-facing communication skills.
• Excellent computer skills, particularly MS Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
• Experience with Intacct and Floqast is a plus
