We’re looking for an experienced and collaborative Construction Superintendent based out of our client’s field office in Brentwood, New York, who thrives when people are in sync and construction projects are running like they should. As a key member of our team, you’ll be providing direction to the team regarding quality, safety, and general day-to-day operations. You’ll take the lead on daily scheduling and planning activities of contractors and subcontractors involved at the project site. You’ll ensure that the right materials, equipment, and people are there to get the job done. Your ability to coordinate onsite work schedules with the client’s staff and manage multiple projects at a time will be critical to your success. Most importantly, you’ll take action to ensure the safety, health and well-being of your team.

Here’s What You’ll Need:
• High School Diploma
• Minimum 6 years of experience in construction involving multiple phases of larger scale building/rehabilitation projects
• Minimum of 4 years’ experience shall be as an Assistant Superintendent or Inspector on large-scale, multi contract building projects
• Ability to develop and communicate a project work plan, monitor manpower and performance against the work plan, and perform a details comparison of the design drawings against each other to ensure coordination between each of the various project trades
• Demonstrated working knowledge of pre-design and pre-construction, building systems/components and technology, contract management, project delivery methods, team building and client relationship building required
• Valid driver’s license, reliable transportation and willingness to travel within client’s region as needed

Ideally, you’ll also have:
• Bachelor’s degree in Construction, Architecture, or Engineering preferred
• OSHA 30 Certified

The base salary range for this position is $100,000 – $106,000. This range reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for the position. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
