About the Opportunity
WeWork is looking for a Senior Lead to assist the Global Media Manager with the management of the company’s paid media investment across the US and Canada region (USC), largely utilizing performance-based digital paid media channels, while assisting in driving the global media strategy.
The Senior Lead will focus on the implementation and day-to-day management of the media plan as designated by the Global Media Leadership. This person will support the development of the media plan with emphasis on generating and capturing demand for WeWork products and services across paid channels. Responsibilities include accountability for localized go-to market campaigns, local media planning and analysis, marketing campaign operations in support of the local media plan, and day-to-day media agency management.
The role will assist in the planning of a substantial budget and will be accountable for ongoing ROI performance metrics and real-time optimization of spend. This role will work in a hyper-collaborative working team model with both Global and Regional Marketing, Regional sales, real estate and finance functions.
This role is based in New York, and while the primary focus is on the US and Canadian markets, this role will also work globally in conjunction with peers in the Media & Performance Marketing practice across the world.

Responsibilities
• Assist in WeWork’s planning, execution, and measurement of all paid media investments for marketing campaigns across the US and Canada.
• Ensure that localised media plans align with the broader global media strategy.
• Synthesize data, analyze results, identify trends, and optimize campaigns to achieve business goals & objectives
• Assist in managing day-to-day local agency relationships and lead on associated administrative and billing processes.
• Work closely with the Global Media Manager to ensure that we communicate performance in a timely and succinct manner.
• Look to build relationships with local cross functional teams including Inside Sales, Data and Analytics, Accounts Payable and wider marketing.
• Lead on media operations, ensuring that all tagging and trafficking is accurate and timely. Suggest improvements to operational processes where possible.
• Contribute to the wider marketing team by being an active participant in team meetings, presentations, workshops etc.
• Act as part of a Global media team, assisting in representing USC among international peers in the International region.
About You
• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Advertising, Media or related field preferred but not required
• 5 years of experience in media planning/buying/operations (ideally having worked with or at a Media Agency)
• Strong experience working with and optimizing performance marketing channels, especially Brand and Non-Brand Search, Paid Social, Video and Display.
• Experience working with non-digital channels is advantageous but not required.
• Working knowledge of basic ad tech tools, media tagging processes and attribution models
• An understanding of changing advertising regulations (e.g. Cookie deprecation) and their impact on targeting and tracking
• Experience working with creative agencies is advantageous
• Excellent slide design and presentation skills
• Responsive, accountable and detail-oriented with a passion for data and optimization.
• Keen to contribute with an eye for opportunity and an entrepreneurial spirit
• A basic understanding of other marketing channels and tools (including email & automation, SEO, website functionality, Salesforce)
• Comfortable with working as part of a global team with a UK based line manager.
Compensation & Benefits
Base Pay: $84,600 – $112,800
Incentive Compensation: WeWork employees are eligible to participate in an incentive plan specific to their role. Your recruiter will detail what incentive plan is applicable to this specific role. WeWork incentive plans are subject to the terms of the applicable incentive compensation plan, which will be made available to you after commencing employment. WeWork reserves the right to amend its incentive plans, and nothing in this job requisition or any other document creates a right to a specific incentive plan payment.
Benefits: Full-time employees are eligible for comprehensive benefits (subject to the terms of applicable plans/policies/agreements, which will be made available to you after commencing employment), including 20 days of PTO, approximately 10 paid holidays, 80 hours of paid sick leave, 16 weeks paid parental leave, competitive healthcare benefits, Life & AD&D insurance.
