Corporate/ Transactional Associate The candidate should have a Juris Doctorate degree required. Admission to practice law in one of the following jurisdictions is mandatory: California, Connecticut, Florida, Illinois, Maryland, Massachusetts, New Jersey, New York, Ohio, Tennessee, or Washington, DC. 5 years of relevant corporate transactional experience. Preferred candidates should have prior M&A experience on the buyer side and seller side (such as experience drafting and negotiating asset, stock, merger, employment, escrow, LLC operating, shareholder, and other agreements typically relevant in these types of transactions) as well as strong corporate formation and commercial contracting experience. Ideal candidates should exhibit the highest level of legal and practical problem solving skills, drafting ability, and client relations acumen. Interest in the health care industry and familiarity with applicable health care regulatory issues in such transactions (such as Stark, fraud/abuse, and the like) is preferred, but not required. Must possess strong academic credentials, have excellent communication and writing skills, have excellent drafting skills, and have strong corporate transactional/M&A experience.
