Job Title: Project Program Manager II
Duration: 3 months (Possibility of extension)
Location: New York, NY, US (3 days in office ndash; Tues/Wed/Thurs Some flex here if needed on which days)
Pay rate is $45/hr.nbsp;

Job Description:
• Responsible for the coordination and completion of customer onboarding.
• Oversees all aspects of projects.
• Sets deadlines, assigns responsibilities, and monitors and summarizes progress of project/program.
• Customer facing. Prepares reports for upper management regarding status of project/program.
• May require a bachelor#39;s degree and 4-7 years of experience in the field of freight logistics or in a related area.
• Familiar with a variety of the field#39;s concepts, practices, and procedures.
• Relies on extensive experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals.
• Performs a variety of tasks. Leads and directs the work of others.
• A wide degree of creativity and latitude is expected. Typically reports to a manager or head of a unit/department.

Story Behind the Need ndash;
• Professional services implementation team ndash; project managing the launch of new shippers on Client freight platform ndash; implementing new awards for existing shippers on platform
• Main project: Specific shipper implementations ndash; gearing ratio ndash; 1 SSM to about 5 shippers at a time PM implementing a new shipper ndash; business dev will find shipper and bid on lanes ndash; then this team will be implementing on schedule
• Customer facing experience is good ndash; comfortable repping client
• PM exp
• Freight exp helpful but not required ndash; ideal (truckload) possibly LTL (or intermodal)
• Sales background not required (sales if no Proserv)
