This position is part of the Field Service Engineer and will be located in Remote Queens, NY.
In this role, you will have the opportunity to:
• Provide front line support by resolving customers’ problems and issues through technical expertise and troubleshooting.
• Use critical thinking to resolve issues within defined procedures and practices to determine appropriate action to rapidly repair instrumentation.
• FSE’s may operate independently within their geographic territory, however Cepheid fosters a team-based environment with opportunities to benchmark, mentor and receive expert technical support.
The essential requirements of the job include:
• High School degree or equivalent with 4+ years of related work experience OR AA or Technical Trade Degree in Electronics, Engineering, IT (or related discipline) with 2+ years of related work experience.
• Medical Technologist with 2+ years of laboratory experience.
• Related work experience in field service, laboratory, medical technology, and/or biomedical engineering technology.
