This is an exciting opportunity to work for one of the top law firms in the U.S.! Davis Wright Tremaine LLP is looking for an Administrative Legal Assistant to join our team in our New York office. Please note the core hours of this position will be 11:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. ET.
This is an entry-level position which is designed to provide assistance to executive legal assistants/secretaries and other administrative staff on a task basis. Completion of all provided training programs is mandatory.

On a typical day you will:
• Assist legal assistants and other administrative staff with administrative tasks which may include, attorney time entry, prepare/organize binders, organize files, open new client and new matter files, expense reimbursement
• Other projects as assigned
• Attend training classes
• Communicate clearly with all appropriate team members on project status

• Self-starter with a high degree of attention to detail
• Ability to accurately type 50+ wpm
• Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office products
• Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Office Word
• Ability and willingness to learn new programs and program updates
• Ability to express self effectively, both orally and in writing
• Excellent grammar and proofreading skills
• A highly professional demeanor and appearance
• Ability to work in a team-oriented, service focused environment and to handle stressful situations in calm, composed manner
• Ability to prioritize tasks and to complete projects with minimal supervision
• Ability to follow client confidentiality guidelines
• At least one year experience in a professional office preferred
• Flexibility to work overtime, if needed

New York
The annualized salary range for this position in New York City is $63,000 to $67,000 ($34.62 – $36.81 hourly). Actual pay will be adjusted based on experience and other job-related factors permitted by law. Full time employees may be eligible for a bonus, health insurance with an optional HSA, short term disability, long term disability, dental insurance, vision care, telemedicine and virtual short term solution based counseling services, life insurance, Healthcare and Dependent Care Flexible Spending Accounts, subsidized backup care and caregiving resources, 401(k), vacation, sick time, and an employee assistance program.
