Morgan, Lewis & Bockius LLP, one of the world’s leading global law firms with offices in strategic hubs of commerce, law, and government across North America, Asia, Europe, and the Middle East, is seeking to hire an Administrative Practice Assistant. Reporting to the Administrative Support Manager, the Administrative Practice Assistant will be responsible for providing a broad range of administrative support to our firm’s practice groups in an environment where superior client service is emphasized and practiced.
This position will reside in our New York, NY office with a hybrid in-office/remote working schedule.
Key responsibilities of this position include:
• Maintaining case and client files including uploading electronic files to a document management system.
• Processing new business intake and related forms.
• Time entry, answering phones and taking messages, scheduling appointments and coordinating meetings; arranging audio and video conferences.
• Processing expense reports, check requests, scanning, copying, coordinating incoming/outgoing mail, faxes and emails, word processing, arranging travel and preparing travel itineraries.
• Managing attorney calendars.
• Provide legal research, case support and project assistance.
• Developing and maintaining a system/process for tracking matters that require future attention.
• Other duties as assigned.
Experience/Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree and one (1) year of internship or professional experience preferred; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Strongly preferred prior experience as a legal secretary and/or administrative assistant.
• Must have strong ability to format documents in MS Office programs including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
• Demonstrated proficiency in iManage, Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
• Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, the ability to balance multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment, and the ability to manage confidential information with discretion.
• Excellent written/verbal communication skills, strong interpersonal skills, and the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Ability to prioritize and balance competing demands and meet deadlines in a fast-paced professional environment.
• Flexibility to work overtime is required.

$52,904.00 – $84,647.00.
