This opportunity entails being responsible for specific technical design aspects of an assigned project including investigation, evaluation and recommendation of design solutions. Assigned to handle specific technical design aspects of a project for which he/she is responsible including investigating, evaluating, and recommending the design solutions that best meet the client’s needs. Performs assignments under direction with limited responsibility for design.

What You’ll Do:
• Provides professional architectural consulting in the planning, design and coordination of project assignments. Makes recommendations on design alternatives.
• Applies diverse knowledge of architectural principles and practices in broad array of assignments. Independently makes decisions on significant architectural design problems and methods. Has full technical responsibility for interpreting, organizing, executing and coordinating architectural design assignments.
• Responsible for specific technical design aspects of an assigned project, including investigation, evaluation and recommendation of design solutions that best meet the client’s need. Frequently researches unusual and non-recurring problems.
• Independently applies advanced architectural concepts and designs. Carries out assignments requiring the development of new or improved techniques and procedures.
• May provide technical guidance to less experienced architects.
• May assist with proposal preparation/business development.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
What You’ll Need:
• Bachelor’s degree in Architecture
• 2 years related experience
• Revit skills
What We Prefer:
• Experience or Strong interest in Transit / Aviation Architecture.
• Highly skilled in Revit and/or MicroStation, AutoCAD, Adobe Creative Suite and Microsoft Office.
• Excellent design and presentation skills, both verbal and visual.
• Experience with Rhino, 3-D Max or Sketch-Up a plus.
• LEED Accreditation a plus.

The approximate pay range for New York City metro area is $68,569.51 – $102,854.27. Please note that the pay range provided is a good faith estimate for the position at the time of posting. Actual compensation will be dependent on factors, including but not limited to, the individual’s qualifications, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities as well as physical work location within the state.
