Job Description

Position: AVP, Data Management

Job Location: United States : New York : New York

Work arrangement: Hybrid- 3 days in office/2 days remote.

Key responsibilities: Drive vision, solution development and innovation across data management. Lead end-to-end “Data as Service” product teams and help establish Agile/Value driven teams in each country. Partner with other data functions and interact with Enterprise team to meet all engineering needs. Communicate with country leaderships across the region to discuss business value needs, understand and drive enablement of business. Own and drive key interactions with business and technology senior management and internal user groups and conduct internal and external research and analysis to define and develop delivery approach and roadmaps. Manage and engage with local and enterprise teams for end-to-end delivery. Summarize information for different stakeholders and drive decision making and final delivery. Identify, document, communicate and mitigate risks and issues. Train various resources on the key capabilities required to stand up and manage data warehouses. Lead, mentor, train and motivate team, including direct reports, non-direct reports, internal or vendor resources to ensure efficiency. Forecast and manage budget aligned to product delivery.

Essential business experience and technical skills: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering or Mechanical Engineering (willing to accept foreign education equivalent) plus eight (8) years of experience leading the delivery of enterprise scale technology programs. Specific skills/other requirements (quantitative experience requirement not applicable to this section) — must possess the following experience: building and establishing data management, data lakes, warehouses, operational data stores, analytical or reporting data marts; driving solutions development and delivery using big data-based solutions, micro services, container and cloud-based solutions and integration methodologies; building and implementing data ingestion, curation process and digital transformation for data programs using SQL for data anomaly detection and data quality assurance; leading and mentoring team, including direct reports, non-direct reports, internal or vendor resources; and ingesting large volumes of data from various platforms for reporting, analytics, data supply and transactional needs.

The wage range for applicants for this position is $217,800.00~257,900.00. This role is also eligible for annual short-term incentive compensation.
