About the Opportunity
WeWork is currently seeking a Broker Sales Development Representative. This full-time position is based in New York City and will report directly to a National Inbound Manager. This Broker, Agent and Real Estate Partner facing role will assist in driving revenue growth by filling our top-of-funnel sales pipeline with pre- qualified leads. This individual will be responsible for working within an Inside Sales team, sitting alongside the wider Leasing team to achieve both personal and team sales goals for US & Canada. Our team is the front lines of the sales process, which is why we need individuals who understand and are passionate about the WeWork experience.
As a successful Inbound Broker Sales Development Representative, you will be expected to (but not limited to):
• Manage Broker accounts by displaying high levels of customer service as the first point of contact, being responsible for driving consistent pipeline, qualified tours and handoffs to accelerate sales performance
• Own the sales process: contact identification, lead pre-qualification, prospecting, pipeline building and opportunity identification
• Provide unmatched Broker/agent relationships to help close leads through sales processes
• Nurture, develop, and handoff leads that result in qualified opportunities to the Sales team
• Work with automation platforms to efficiently input and track data
• Execute strategy and process implemented by Inside Sales Leadership
• Partner with a team of Sales Development Representatives and Inbound Broker Reps
• Provide regular updates to your team about objectives and processes
• You are a jack of all trades: you will do anything needed to support the team in order to achieve team goals
• Work towards/maintain 100% building occupancy through achieving booked tour goals/meetings set
• Communicate the WeWork brand and lifestyle to ensure the highest conversion rate of booked tours/meetings set
About You
We’d love to hear from you if you meet the qualifications below:
• Bachelor’s Degree
• At least 6 months of professional experience in sales or related industry
• Track record of sales in cold calling and emailing are helpful
• Comfortable using marketing automation platforms and CRM – Salesforce experience highly desirable
• Demonstrated experience in prospecting, developing, and handoff sales
• Experience in customer service and relationship building are highly desirable
• Experience working on a team and leading a team player mentality
• Strong work ethic and entrepreneurial spirit – WeWork is a key player in the future of workspace, meaning each employee will be given significant responsibility and autonomy. Compensation & Benefits
Base Pay and Incentive Compensation: $50,000 annual salary, plus variable incentive pay with on target earnings between $77,300 – $83,500. WeWork employees are eligible to participate in an incentive plan specific to their role, which sets forth the terms of the variable incentive pay and target earnings described above. Your recruiter will detail what incentive plan is applicable to this specific role. WeWork incentive plans are subject to the terms of the applicable incentive compensation plan, which will be made available to you after commencing employment. WeWork reserves the right to amend its incentive plans, and nothing in this job requisition or any other document creates a right to a specific incentive plan payment.
Benefits: Full-time employees are eligible for comprehensive benefits (subject to the terms of applicable plans/policies/agreements, which will be made available to you after commencing employment), including 20 days of PTO, approximately 10 paid holidays, 80 hours of paid sick leave, 16 weeks paid parental leave, competitive healthcare benefits, 401K plan, Life & AD&D insurance.
