Job Description
AECOM is seeking a Construction Project Manager Associate to be based in New York, NY. Will Operate as a graduate-level Construction Manager working directly with the NYC SCA on projects related to schools throughout New York City and the surrounding boroughs. The Project Officer Associate is ideal for new graduates and will report to a Senior Project Officer. The Project Officers Associate may perform a broad range of supportive and necessary school construction technical tasks of varying degrees of difficulty in a variety of assignments within the Construction Management Dept.
Responsibilities:
• Review documents submitted for City required building and other permits for completeness and accuracy.
• Provide support to permit applicants in completing the filing procedure with various City agencies.
• Deliver documents to various city agencies for data entry, review, and/or approval.
• May be required to work closely with Plan Examiners in reviewing documents for City Building Code and for guaranteeing compliance.
• Research existing building status from City records at various agencies.
• Perform related tasks.
Qualifications
Minimum Requirements:
• BA/BS + None or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education
• Due to the nature of the job, U.S. citizenship is required

• Valid driver’s license required
Preferred requirements:
• Will have a working knowledge of computer software systems (e.g., Excel, Word).
• two (2) years of full-time experience performing: construction inspection and monitoring of construction projects.
• NYC Agency experience

• Relocation is not available
Offered rate of compensation will be based on individual education, qualifications, experience, and work location. The salary range for this position is $68,000 – $80,000.
