A mass multimedia company is seeking a Data Insights & Analytics Analyst. This candidate will work on the Internal Audit
Team and will partner with Corporate Finance and business operations to focus on data cleaning, documenting data flows, developing insights through analytics standards and ad hoc analyses. In addition to supporting the department in analytics and traditional audit engagements, data analytics efforts will drive risk analysis to focus testing to cover compliance and process improvement efforts. This position is a permanent role and will require 3 days a week on-site. This position can sit out of Charlotte, NC or NYC.
• previous experience supporting an Audit department
• 2-3 years of experience working as a Data Insights & Analytics specialist (experience within data analytics, data quality, data visualization, or related field)
• Basic programming skills with Python or R (or strong interest to learn and grow this skillset)
• Python used to clean the data and put the data into a useable format. That format will then be connected to the dashboard.
• This is not a developer role, but someone with Python or R can automate tasks
• Ability to extract data out of ERP system (Oracle or SAP prereferred, however any ERP experience is relevant) – SQL, Python and R preferred
• Understanding of Data Visualization
