Could you be the full-time Digital Service Engineering Specialist we’re looking for?
Please notice that the projects to be supported will be on North-East US corridor mainly, Washington to Boston (Including but not limited to Philadelphia, NYCT, New Jersey, etc)
Your future role:
Take on a new challenge and apply your ability to work with Digital Solutions engineering to support, deploy, configure and commission digital solution hardware and software components to the projects in a new cutting-edge field. You’ll report to Selim Hmidy, (NAM Digital Service Manager) and work alongside versatile, motivated, and passionate teammates.
You’ll provide technical support to the HST Amtrak HealthHub Project implementation by serving the Northeast Corridor Region. Day-to-day, you’ll work closely with teams across the business to work with Digital Solutions engineering to support, deploy, configure and commission digital solution hardware and software components to the projects and much more.
We’ll look to you for:
• Provide technical support to the Alstom or client sites digital solution deployment.
• Manage deployment of HealthHub solutions on Rolling Stock, Wayside equipment and any other equipment in use in an Alstom or client site.
• Maintain dashboards, KPIs and other means of monitoring fleet digital solution deployment.
• Become subject matter experts in predictive maintenance, data analytics, Condition Based Maintenance, and remote telematic sensors installation and deployment.
• Support Rolling Stock in the design and validation of the end to end process (data acquisition, model implementation, algorithm implementation and trigger of the alert, impact on the maintenance service)
• Provide data supporting the optimization of the fleet maintenance regime.

• Bachelor’s degree in Systems Engineering is preferred.
• Strong experience in functional vehicle system engineering and/or experience in train/vehicle control and communication system.
• Experience or understanding of Data analysis or embedded CBM automation data monitoring industry will be considered as an asset.
• Strong understanding of railway vehicle and wayside systems and subsystems will be considered as a strong asset.
• Availability to travel local, up to 50% of the time.
• Proven ability to influence, negotiate and build effective relationships across divisions and organizations.
• Strong analytical, problem solving and critical thinking skills.
