The successful applicant must possess energy/infrastructure transactional project finance experience preferably in connection with debt financings, tax equity financings and/or project development work. Responsibilities: * Advise clients on the development, structuring and financing of energy and infrastructure projects, including renewable energy projects * Represent clients in energy and infrastructure transactions, including mergers and acquisitions, project finance, and other capital markets transactions * Analyze and interpret laws, regulations, and contracts * Draft and negotiate contracts and other legal documents * Identify legal risks and provide strategic advice on legal issues * Provide legal advice on a variety of complex matters * Manage projects and work collaboratively with other attorneys * Supervise and mentor junior attorneys and other staff as needed Qualifications: * J.D. from an accredited law school * 4-7 years of large law firm experience * Admitted to practice law in New York or eligible for admission * Strong analytical and problem solving skills * Excellent legal writing and oral communication skills * Ability to work independently and as part of a team * Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously * Experience in energy/infrastructure transactional project finance * Experience with debt financings, tax equity financings and/or project development work Compensation: The base salary or hourly wage range for this position will be determined during the interview process and will vary based on multiple factors, including but not limited to prior experience, relevant expertise, current business needs, and market factors. Final salary or hourly wages offered may be outside of this range based on other reasons and individual circumstances. Additionally, salary or hourly wages may be only part of the total compensation package.
