Job Summary
The General Manager, reporting directly to the Vice President of Operational Excellence, holds duties related to day to day operations of a designated client account. This position entails a need for excellent communication skills, ability to multi-task, strong operational leadership and staff management skills and someone who is a superior relationship builder.
In this role, you will be assigned to various client accounts primarily in the NYC region and may support day to day operations or a number of strategic initiatives; new account start ups, client/management transitions, etc. If you are a dynamic foodservice leader with strong business etiquette, you consistently enjoy new challenges and projects, and are looking to grow your management career, this is the opportunity for you!
Key Responsibilities:
• Manages day to day operations of an account
• Maintains excellent relationships with customers, guests and Client as well as other departments
• Oversees P&L and budgeting as it pertains to the account
• Conducts HR functions including hiring, progressive counseling, terminations
• Oversees scheduling, payroll and team training
• Works with the Chef and management team to ensure top quality food
• Rolls out new culinary programs in conjunction with Company marketing and culinary team
Preferred Qualifications:
• BS, Hospitality or Culinary degree preferred
• Five years of foodservice operation experience
• High volume production and catering experience is essential
• Previous experience managing a budget
• Desire to learn and grow with a top notch foodservice company
