Due to our continued growth, we are seeking a construction Health and Safety Inspector with New York City Transit experience for a variety of projects throughout the five boroughs.

Responsibilities
• Conduct safety inspections at various infrastructure and building project sites and develop a report at the end of each inspection
• Assist in developing and reviewing Health and Safety procedures and programs
• Conduct safety related training
Provide compliance assistance to projects
• Qualifications
• Certification in one of the following required: CHST, ASP, CSP, CIH
• Extensive knowledge of relevant safety requirements including OSHA, NYCDOB, NYCDEP, DOT, local, state and federal safety regulations
• NYCT Track Training, 30 Hour OSHA certification as well as 90 day ROW (right-of-way) experience required
• Good written and oral skills
• Ability to communicate with employees at all levels
• Ability to work days and off hour shifts on nights and weekends

Work Environment/Physical Demands:

The position requires conducting job-site audits that may involve walking over uneven terrain, climbing ladders, and working from heights including scaffolds.

• We offer a competitive salary commensurate with experience, a comprehensive benefits package and a positive work environment.
• Compensation: Minimum $93,000; Maximum: $135,000
