About the role

The CBRE Investment Accounting & Reporting (IA&R) Internship accelerates your learning and development by providing you with a great foundation upon which to build your career in the commercial real estate industry. This 8-week summer intern program will introduce you to our company, our fast-paced industry, and our elite professionals.

CBRE IA&R is the only 100% dedicated Real Estate Fund and Property accounting business supporting Global and Pan-European coordination for clients providing Fund & SPV Accounting, Investor Reporting, and Performance Measurement services to real estate investment companies, sovereign wealth funds, and other institutional investors in key financial markets.

Internship Overview

Our Summer Internship is 8 weeks long and takes place June – July 2024.

Program participants will receive real-world training and participate in networking and learning opportunities within Digital Business Operations who are responsible for leveraging knowledge of technology to support internal and external clients in technology use, business process improvement, and training.

While gaining real-world experience and subsequently building a network of professional contacts, the programs supportive training schedule will ensure you accelerate. You will also gain an insight into how we use technology to support our clients and this will allow you to develop your knowledge of Real Estate and its associated functions.

What you’ll need:

A forward-thinking and enthusiastic individual with a passion for information technology related to the fields of accounting, finance, investment accounting

Self-motivated with good written and verbal communication skills

Strong work ethic and proactive with a positive attitude

Attention to detail, accuracy and good time management

Good MS Office skills including Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint

The successful candidate must, by the commencement of employment, have the right to work in the US.

New York Residents: CBRE carefully considers multiple factors to determine compensation, including a candidate’s education, training and experience. The minimum salary for the Intern position is $15.00 per hour and the maximum salary for the Intern position is $20.00 per hour. The compensation that is offered to a successful candidate will depend on the candidate’s skills, qualifications, and experience.
