## Attorney – Labor and Employment Mid-Level Associate ### Overview Kelley Drye & Warren LLP is looking for a mid-level Labor & Employment associate to join their growing team in the New York office. Qualified candidates should have four years of solid Labor & Employment experience, either at a law firm or within government, and must have a background in all areas of employment law, including state and federal discrimination, traditional labor law and wage/hour law. ### Qualifications – At least four years of solid Labor & Employment experience, either at a law firm or within government – Background in all areas of employment law, including state and federal discrimination, traditional labor law and wage/hour law – Experience handling employment litigation in state and federal courts, and matters before the administrative agencies – Drafting pleadings and motions, handling discovery independently, preparation for and defense of depositions, and court appearances – Counseling experience and excellent client-relations skills – Experience in New Jersey and Connecticut (i.e. Tri-State) a plus – Strong analytical abilities, proven research and writing skills – Ability to both work independently and collaboratively – Top credentials required – NY Bar admission required ### Salary The salary range displayed is specifically for those potential hires who will work or reside in New York City if selected for the role. Any offered salary is determined based on internal equity, internal salary ranges, market data/ranges, applicant’s skills and prior relevant experience, certain degrees and certifications (e.g. JD/technology) for example. New York City Salary Range: $230,000 – $260,000.
