Maintenance Planner Scheduler– Maintenance & Repair

Under the direction of the Field Director, receives, prioritizes and schedules the day to day and long term activities of the facility maintenance teams. Responsible for processing and administering all work order requests, customer requests and the Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS). Oversees customer follow-up activities of the Dispatchers.

You’ll process written and electronic customer work requests, verify completeness of all entries, enter information into CMMS, issues work order ticket, determines appropriate supervisor and upon completion, close work orders and coordinates staff follow-up. Directly supervises Site Dispatchers and CMMS Coordinator. Maintain adequate supply of materials and equipment. Participates in the selection of vendors and prepares purchase requisitions. Attends and participates in weekly scheduling meetings. Prepares departmental status reports on work and project activities for senior departmental management. Participates in the preparation and tracking of the operating budget, monthly variance reports, and BID proposals.

Required
• Associates degree in an Engineering Discipline, or equivalent experience preferred, or broad based in-depth maintenance experience.
• Minimum of 2 years experience in CMMS, experience in building maintenance procedures and practices
• Minimum of 5 years experience in hands-on operation and maintenance of commercial and/or industrial systems and facilities operations
• Experience in a hospital facilities operations environment
• Proficiency in the use of Microsoft Office programs including Outlook, Word and Excel
• Excellent written, communication skills, strong interpersonal skills and ability to multi-task
