Manager, Comparator Global Services
The Manager, Comparator Global Services works closely with the global CDS business development team to grow the comparator business with new and existing clients. Responsible for delivering against revenue (margin) targets and working with cross-functional teams for all comparator sales related activities including BD, ISG, Marketing, legal, and client services. Responsible for providing expert sourcing guidance directly with sponsors, as well as managing costs and margins on individual deals.
The Role:
• Grow the comparator sourcing business, particularly by focusing on new customer acquisition and retention.
• Working independently of or with Catalent CDS Business Development Account Directors to develop, manage and grow client relationships
• Identify opportunities, the formulation and the conduct of specific end-to-end account strategies, and the implementation of tactics that result in new sales while building long-term productive customer-supplier relations. Manage all sourcing requests for new and existing clients.
• Responsible for achieving annual comparator revenue, margin and sales targets.
• Be the Commercial Drug Subject Matter Expert for the sales team globally. Giving advisory support on sourcing strategy and providing timely and accurate information, especially around milestones that need to be kept to meet project timelines.
• Lead and provide business support to BD / client specific team(s) to ensure end-to-end customer satisfaction.
• Facilitate client contracts, CDA’s, MSA’s and Technical Agreements.
• Other duties as assigned.
The Candidate:
• BS in a scientific field or related discipline with at least 5+ relevant year’s work experience
• MBA or Management experience preferred
• Excellent communication skills
• Ability to understand and apply key concepts from Miller-Heiman training
• Detail oriented
