What you’ll do
• Develop and execute a sales action plan to meet or exceed monthly, quarterly, and annual sales and orders targets for assigned territory (region) through direct sales activities and partnership with Account Managers and relevant Sales Specialists. (Across Bio-process, D&M, BIS and Gen Med Op-Cos).
• Create strategic alliances for the assigned territory to create an ongoing healthy funnel for the Cytiva’s Process Design services business. These could be the Science parks, Biotech hubs etc within the region
• Identify new opportunities by evaluating the molecule pipeline to develop sales funnel and aid in increasing Process design revenue opportunities, keeping an eye on design in pull through potential
• Position, present and demonstrate Cytiva Process Development Services solutions & technologies at right conferences
• Provide consultative technical support for customers that require process development services
• Collaborate and train other Sales roles – Account Managers, Sales specialists and Workflow specialists so that they can pitch Cytiva’s PD Services and generate interest in their accounts
• Report and communicate all business opportunities during funnel review calls. Effectively utilize Funnel Management Selling.
• Provide weekly sales and order forecast updates, customers issues/needs, including timely quotation, order entry matters, validation project execution, current project status etc. that impacts customer satisfaction.
• Collaborate with Product Management, Fast Trak lab leaders, Project Management to bring voice of customer as well as track projects through Quote generation to completion
• Participate or lead DBS activities and process improvement teams.
• Other duties as assigned.

Who you are
• Skills: Active Listening, Analytical Capability, Builds Networks, Business Advisor, Business Insight, Collaborates, Manages Complexity, Provides Consultation
• Sales technique including cross selling, upselling, value positions and funnel management.
• Understanding of the process development needs in mAbs, VV and new modalities to be able to iinterpret customer needs well.
• Understanding of customers’ key business drivers.
• DBS growth tools.
• BSc (Biotechnology/Life Sciences) or equal experience
• 5 years of experience in bioprocess process or related field
• 3 years of commercial experience (e.g. sales, account management or business development) in the Biotech, Bio[harma or CDMO field preferred
• Strong commercial acumen to develop sales opportunities up to successful closure
• Excellent client relationships and management experience
• Excellent oral and written communications skills
• Willingness to regular travel according to business needs (about 50% of your time)
• Team oriented – ability to motivate and work well with diverse, cross-functional teams
• Demonstrated facilitation and negotiation skills in driving closure on complex solutions offerings-related decisions/issues
• Basic understanding of Cytiva’s Process development services business preferred
