Description:

Program Manager – Facilities Training

The Training Manager will identify and monitor training needs in the organization, and design, plan, and implement training programs, policies, and procedures to fulfill those needs. The Training Manager will manage training activities both internally and externally. Training Manager will be responsible for assessing the training needs of the organization in order to support and expand Facilities Operations and Engineering (FO&E) training programs, and training best practices. The Training Manager will also use project management skills to ensure that all trainings are administered effectively. Identifies and formulates training program objectives that align with NYP’s principles, practices and strategic plan. Works with both internal and external stakeholders to develop specific training programs and determine the most effective delivery methods across all campuses. Supports and coordinates scheduled/ad-hoc employee trainings. Works closely with FO&E Directors and Managers, and NYP Talent Development to conduct analyses regarding departmental training needs. Select and manage resources, including working with both internal employees and training vendors to develop and deliver training. Carefully identifies and engages with internal subject matter experts and external consultants and trainers, as needed, to supplement internal programs and resources. Develop individualized and group training programs that address specific business needs. Manage all activities related to the planning, development and delivery of training programs including technical skills training; new employee orientation; regulatory, health and safety trainings; supervisory development; regulatory compliance; systems (technology); functional training and online learning programs.

This is a full time day position will be mainly located at NewYork-Presbyterian / Weill Cornell Medical Center, but will cover all sites within the enterprise.

Required Criteria
• B.A./B.S. or equivalent experience
• 5+ years’ experience in Safety, facilities and/or business management
• Previous experience in the design and/or management of staff development programs in a large organization
• Strong interpersonal, organizational, communication, group facilitation and presentation skills
• Strong analytics and writing skills
• Highly computer/technology literate – with proficiency in Microsoft Office/M365 suite of products, communication tools as well as training content creation applications., Excel, PowerPoint, Project

$89,000 – $133,000/Annual
