Job Description

GetYourGuide is Europe’s leading travel marketplace for tours and activities, and is looking to rapidly expand its business in the United States. We are looking for a senior sales and account manager to own our most important strategic relationships in NYC, the flagship market of our rapidly growing US business.

Responsibilities:
• Key account management. Working with suppliers to deepen relationships, drive more business and create lasting partnerships, you’ll drive the growth of one of our biggest markets.
• Acquire new business. The NYC tourism industry is ever-changing and ever-evolving, and you know how to stay ahead of the game, acquiring and closing new business.
• Drive initiatives. Across a breadth of suppliers, different categories and different types of businesses, you leave no stone unturned to drive short and long-term opportunities.
• Analytical chops. You can think big picture, and drill into the details, and bring a data-first approach to prioritization, decision-making and strategic direction.
• Be both an internal and external advocate. You are the face of GetYourGuide to the NYC tourism industry, and the face of NYC internally. You know every player in the city and you have the network, or you’re willing to put in the time to build it.

Your Profile:
• 5+ years of B2B account management and sales experience, ideally with a background in tourism and/or the NYC market.
• Experience working in large, complex markets, and a successful track record of driving results with a host of different cross-functional partners.
• Fluency with Excel and a comfort making data-driven decisions. You have great business instincts, but know how to validate them.
• You’re a true self-starter. You’re curious, hungry and you thrive in environments where you’re given license to be proactive, rather than waiting to be handed tasks.
• You’re passionate about establishing and leveraging meaningful relationships with external partners.
• You work well in a fast paced, startup environment with ambitious targets and deadlines

• This is a regular full-time position based in New York City reporting to the GM of NYC
• We are located in the Financial District of New York City, near Bowling GreenPlease note that GetYourGuide is not able to provide work permit sponsorship for this position. You need to be eligible to work in the US before we are able to consider your application.
