Job Description

We are looking for an intrapreneurial, strategic, and highly analytical performance marketing leader with a track record of both profitably scaling and accelerating revenue capture through creative performance and social media channels.

As the Senior Director for Performance Acceleration you will be responsible for leading a high performance marketing team, steering the budget and creative innovation, identifying and scaling cost-effective new customer acquisition campaigns across multiple paid social channels. For this role, your key focus will be driving creative performance and innovation across Meta, TikTok, Snapchat and other social advertising channels. You will help develop and execute the strategic plan applying process that brings speed and agility, metrics and measurement to inform decisions and drive execution to optimize a significant marketing budget against company goals.

You will…
• Manage a multimillion dollar social media budget, marketing forecasting, and delivery against key business metrics
• Lead the creation, optimization, and expansion of paid social campaigns to drive traffic, revenue, and ROI across Meta, TikTok, SnapChat and Pinterest to name a few.
• Lead and drive performance acceleration in close collaboration with stakeholder organizations, Creative, Analytics, Finance and Digital Product to drive the vision of more transparent and agile creative performance operations.
• Manage Online Marketing for HelloFresh, Factor, Green Chef and EveryPlate to name a few
• Identify growth opportunities and drive creative performance, optimization, building a culture of innovation and hypothesis and data driven experimentation
• Lead team of >5 people in creating, implementing, tracking, analyzing & optimizing of performance for online channels
• Define strategy for various marketing channels while ensuring execution, monitoring and reporting are done effectively
• Guide the team to generate reports on campaign performance, help identify trends and anomalies in the data and make recommendations on those findings
• Serve as a main point of contact for director and c-suite level executives as it relates to performance of your channels and its impact on revenue and profitability of the business
• Partner with internal teams to optimize campaign performance; e.g. Creative, BI, Digital Product, etc.—(targeting, optimization, creative direction, etc.)
• Partner with cross-functional teams enhance and continue building best-in-class marketing data and technology capabilities
• Define measurement plan for creative innovation, testing and paid social platforms with a focus on incrementality as cross channel synergies through Media Mix Modelling

At a minimum, you have…
• A bachelor’s degree with a strong academic record and/or proven relevant experience in a performance marketing or highly commercial role.
• 15+ years of experience directly managing Marketing campaigns at $100M+ annual budget client or agency side
• Expert knowledge of various online channels as well as web & app tracking setup and troubleshooting.
• 7+ years of experience managing direct reports
• Previous experience with MMM, MTA, or other advanced marketing measurement methodologies
• Solid understanding of testing approaches including A/B tests as well as incrementality tests
• Substantial experience working with performance marketing metrics (CPM, CPI, CPA, CPC & LTV)
• Experience with subscription products, ecommerce brands and direct-to–consumer strategies a plus

New York Pay Range
$193,000—$240,000 USD
