Compensation Overview
The annual base salary range provided for this position is a nationwide market range and represents a broad range of salaries for this role across the country. The actual salary for this position will be determined by a number of factors, including the scope, complexity and location of the role; the skills, education, training, credentials and experience of the candidate; and other conditions of employment. As part of our comprehensive compensation and benefits program, employees are also eligible for performance-based cash incentive awards.

$65,800.00 – $108,600.00

What Is the Opportunity?
The Senior Analyst, Investor Relations will work closely with the SVP and Director of Investor Relations and will be responsible for providing direct support for all Investor Relations activities including quarterly earnings and special projects. The Senior Analyst will also work closely with others within the finance organization, as well as the enterprise business units.
What Will You Do?
• Develops collateral materials for quarterly earnings, other investment community communications and senior management.
• Tracks industry trends, performs in-depth competitive analysis and provides market intelligence.
• Conducts financial modeling on Travelers and peers.
• Maintains and analyzes database of analyst models.
• Summarizes and provides analysis of analyst research reports.
• Utilizes third party market intelligence tools for research and analysis.
• Creates weekly market updates.
• Manages various logistical aspects of quarterly earnings process.
• Supports investor and analyst activities including conferences and non-deal roadshows.
• Responds as necessary to shareholder services requests.
• Support ad-hoc projects for senior management.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
What Will Our Ideal Candidate Have?
• Bachelor’s degree in in Finance, Economics, Accounting, Business Management, Engineering or business-related degree preferred.
• 3+ years of experience working in a related role preferably for a financial services firm such as asset management, accounting firm or investment banking.
• Moderate understanding of current financial market and economic events.
• Deep understanding of financial statements and financial modeling.
• Knowledge of capital markets.
• Ability to distill vast amounts of data into financial and economic concepts and present them in business terms.
• Ability to conceive, design and execute on research solutions.
• Advanced skills with Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel and PowerPoint.
• Knowledge of Bloomberg Terminal or FactSet a plus.
• Ability to self-start and work independently with limited direction or supervision.
• Strong communication skills such as written, verbal, listening, and presentation.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Ability to interact and build relationships with people across the firm at different levels of seniority.
What is a Must Have?
• Bachelors degree required.
• 2 years minimum working in a finance or related role.
