Role Value Proposition:
The Senior Multimedia Engineer within the Information Technology team reports to the Manager, Multimedia Services and supports all multimedia within MetLife’s portfolio. The role is responsible for the administration and engineering duties related to the Conference Room Technology, Collaboration Services, Digital Signage and IPTV, will participate in business process automation planning, troubleshoot issues, and document processes and procedures. This position will be based out of our Manhattan location with some travel to nearby locations as needed
Key Responsibilities:
• Act as a multimedia tools advocate to drive adoption and reinforce best practices, educate end users about multimedia tools capabilities, and conduct and lead training sessions.
• Facilitate the configuration and troubleshooting of applications, endpoints and infrastructure conference room related technology (including but not limited to control systems, IPTV distribution, digital signage, infrastructure technology, and various audio and video conferencing components).
• Oversee troubleshooting and follow through on escalation of issues.
• Leverage Crestron Fusion for room monitoring and scheduling as well as Webex Control Hub for troubleshooting.
• Create and maintain functional specifications for new or modified business systems including detailed systems documentation, release notes, user instructions, and procedures
• Stay current industry trends, new technology releases, changes, and updates with attention to their effects in our environment.
• Perform advanced technology support functions for IT operations in a remote network environment including troubleshooting and solving problems related to computer systems or software programs.
Essential Business Experience and Technical Skills:
• Minimum 3 years of experience supporting and administering infrastructure including servers and network
• Minimum 3 years of experience supporting and administering Cisco Conferencing solutions
• Minimum 3 year of experience supporting and administering IPTV and Digital Signage platforms
• Experience in the insurance or financial services industries is a plus
• Knowledge of technology trends, with attention to multimedia tools, Cisco, and Microsoft services
Required:
• Infrastructure including network and server (Windows & Linux), Cisco networking and Firewall
• Cisco video conferencing, Unified Communication & Collaboration, Conference Room technologies
• Experience with conference room control systems, Crestron, Extron.
• Digital Signage or Content Management System platform experience
• IPTV technologies
• Crestron Systems experience
• PowerShell experience
• Proficiency with Azure AD, Active Directory, and LDAP
• Endpoints Performance Monitoring platform experience
• Must be able to interact with all levels of personnel
• Must have experience with Live production technologies and White Glove services for Executive level audiences
Preferred:
• Knowledge of Microsoft Power Apps
• PowerBI Report Generation

The wage range for applicants for this position is $97,400-$129,800. This role is also eligible for annual short-term incentive compensation.
