Summary of Position:

The ServiceNow Technical Lead is an essential team member focused on helping our clients take modernization to a whole new level. This role is a dynamic, outcomes-based leader who can think outside of the box and leads enterprise technology projects with knowledge of how IT and business operational support units’ function. The Consulting Manager serves as the point of escalation for all project related issues. Also supports the sales teams to further expand client relationships and addressing a client’s most pressing business issues by delivering a combination of strategy, process, people, and technology related services. This is a Sr Manager-level role responsible for assisting with expanding the Cognizant footprint within an account by successfully delivering to outcomes, facilitating roadmaps, and engaging in higher lever business conversations.

Duties & Responsibilities: ServiceNow Technical Lead

· Responsible for day-to-day oversight of development team and code reviews related activities during project including writing code.

· Regularly interfaces with QA and Client testing resources during UAT.

· Creates documentation describing the configurations performed as needed for every sprint.

· Provides suggestions and alternatives to technical challenges to meet business solutions.

· Assists in compiling client deliverables including client approach documents and proposals under the direction of the Engagement Leadership Team.

· Maintains ServiceNow certifications with the latest delta exams.

· Achieves additional certifications as needed.

Knowledge & Skills:

• Proven skills as a ServiceNow developer and ability to lead on/offshore development team

• Proven skills with integrations between ServiceNow and third-party applications.

• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

• Strong problem solving and data analysis skills.

• Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office products.

• Intermediate knowledge of business process mapping software such as Visio.

Education & Work Experience

• 3-5 years of related experience in ServiceNow, programming JavaScript, configuring complex integrations, and configuring Service Portals.

• At least 2 years experience leading development teams and code reviews

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Management, Information Systems or related discipline preferred.

Work Authorization

· Cognizant will only consider applicants for this position who are legally authorized to work in the United States without company sponsorship (H-1B, L-1B, L-1A, etc.)

Salary and Other Compensation:

The annual salary for this position is between $140,000-$160,000 depending on experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.

This position is also eligible for Cognizant’s discretionary annual incentive program, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant’s applicable plans.
