The clinical social work position in New York Presbyterian Children’s Hospital (CHONY) Behavioral Health Pediatric Outpatient Service treats children, adolescents and families. We provide services to a diverse patient population spanning a wide range of cultural, religious, and socioeconomic backgrounds.

The Social Work clinician will utilize their skills and expertise in psychotherapy training for evaluation, risk assessment and treatment planning, crisis management interventions and short-term targeted individual and group interventions.

The Social Worker will collaborate with the interdisciplinary team as well as external partners to provide the full spectrum of outpatient psychiatric service.

This position requires on site presence 2-3 days/week at this time. Hours TBD but likely to require some evening. This is an 1199 position.

Preferred Criteria
• Bilingual Spanish
• Psychotherapy experience with children / adolescents

Required Criteria
• Master’s Degree in Social Work (MSW)
• New York State License as a Licensed Masters Social Worker (LMSW)

$39.41-$52.77/Hourly
