POSITION SUMMARY:
As the Studio Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations and workflow of the design studio. Your role will involve managing a team of designers, ensuring smooth project execution, fostering a creative and collaborative environment, and aligning design efforts with the company’s goals and objectives. As a key leadership figure, you will play a crucial role in optimizing design processes, managing resources, and delivering high-quality design outputs that meet client expectations and uphold the brand’s standards.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES/ACCOUNTABILITIES OF THE JOB:
Team Leadership and Management:
• Supervise and support a team of designers, providing guidance, feedback, and mentorship to foster professional growth and development.
• Collaborate with HR to recruit and onboard new designers, ensuring the team’s skills and expertise align with the studio’s needs.
Project Management:
• Oversee project assignments and timelines, ensuring that projects are completed on schedule and within budget.
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams, including clients, product managers, marketing, and other departments, to streamline project workflows.
Resource Allocation:
• Manage design resources effectively, including equipment, software, and materials, to support the team’s productivity and creativity.
• Identify resource gaps and collaborate with stakeholders to address them proactively.
Design Quality Control:
• Review and approve design outputs to ensure they meet the brand’s design standards and client requirements.
• Provide constructive feedback to designers to maintain design excellence.
Budget Management:
• Work closely with the finance department to create and manage the design studio budget, ensuring cost-effective project execution.
• Monitor expenses and implement cost-saving measures where appropriate.
Creative Collaboration:
• Foster a collaborative and inclusive studio culture that encourages open communication, creative brainstorming, and innovative thinking.
• Organize design critiques and brainstorming sessions to promote ideation and problem-solving.
Studio Operations:
• Ensure the studio’s workflow is efficient, organized, and adheres to established procedures and best practices.
• Implement and maintain design tools and software to optimize design processes.
Professional Development:
• Stay updated with industry trends, design innovations, and best practices, and share knowledge with the team to drive continuous improvement.
• Encourage and facilitate training and development opportunities for designers to enhance their skills and expertise.

QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE:
Experience:
• Minimum 5-7 years administrative experience assisting senior creative executive.
• 2+ years of managerial experience is preferred.
Education:
• Bachelor’s degree in related field.
• Proven experience in design management or a similar leadership role in a creative studio environment.
Skills:
• Strong leadership, communication, and team-building skills.
• Excellent project management and organizational abilities.
• In-depth knowledge of design software and tools.
• Creative problem-solving skills and a passion for innovation.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and handle multiple projects simultaneously.
• Previous experience in a creative agency or design studio is a plus.

Pay Range:
$80,000 – $102,000
PVH currently provides base salary ranges for all positions-on job advertisements-in the United States based on local requirements. These ranges are based on what PVH reasonably believes that it will pay an associate for their base salary for said position at the time of the posting. Individual compensation will ultimately be determined based on a variety of relevant factors including but-not limited to qualifications, geographic location and other relevant skills.
