Job Description Summary
Cushman & Wakefield is currently seeking a qualified senior level operations specialist to join a growing team of facility management subject matter experts providing consulting and supporting clients in the operation, maintenance and project support of a dispersed portfolio of industrial real estate.
This is a dynamic role that supports the operations team nationwide. This position is the subject matter expert on the operations of mechanical and electrical infrastructure.

Job Description
• Guidance and oversight of 3rd party vendor and self-performed work for the operation and maintenance of our Client’s infrastructure
• Provide oversight of maintenance and repair services performed by C&W preferred suppliers as well as C&W Facility Managers and Maintenance Techs.
• Establish a routine schedule to visit client sites to ensure that Vendors and Techs provide the appropriate documentation of inspections, operating and maintenance, permits and licenses and all appropriate logs
• Provide technical advice on managing work orders and special projects
• Identify maintenance and repair cost savings opportunities for client
• Oversees delivery against established KPI’s
• Provides People Management, Account Management and minor consultancy services for the support of client accounts
• Make regular scheduled visits with client regional staff to ensure a strong relationship is established and our clients can voice issues and concerns
• Address client identified concerns where possible with vendor or C&W Techs and work to resolve and/or escalate issues when required
• Make recommendation on improving the reliability and efficiency of client’s HVAC and Electrical systems
• Identify opportunities for energy efficiency
• Prepare written reports
• Make presentations on findings
• Project Management Support
• Assisting in the creation or review of Statement of Work for capital improvements (Replacement/Instillation of HVAC, Generator, UPS, Etc.)
• Supporting the RFP Process for work proposed in the regions
• Review and provide general oversight of 3rd party projects performed in the region

• Ensure proper documentation and oversight of project closeout
• Business Development support in the acquisition of new and expanding services for clients related to HVAC and Electrical infrastructure
• Conduct inspection tours of client sites and equipment and systems within the portfolio to assist in identifying additional value-based opportunities that C&W can leverage on the sites
• Support for new and existing clients
• Assist in the transitioning of accounts
• Asset inventory
• Ensuring appropriate maintenance programs are applied

Position Requirements

• Excellent level of knowledge about HVAC and Electrical systems Operation and Management procedures

Education
• Bachelor’s degree in a related field preferred. (Equivalent work experience with building infrastructure maintenance and operation can be substituted)

Experience
• A minimum of five years’ experience supporting mechanical and electrical systems

The compensation that will be offered to the successful candidate will depend on factors such as whether the position is covered by a collective bargaining agreement, the geographic area in which the work will be performed, market pay rates in that area, and the candidate’s experience and qualifications.

The company will not pay less than minimum wage for this role.

The compensation for the position is: $76,500.00 – $90,000.00
