Job Overview
• Quality, efficiency, and safety are key factors in the work at Danone. As a Danone Ventures Operations and Technology Analyst, you will play a vital role in the Supply Chain team.
• We are currently hiring for a Danone Ventures Operations and Technology Analyst based in New York, NY.
• Reporting to the VP Operations, your role will focus on discovery, analysis, and due diligence tasks, as well as being an active part of technical and operational collaborations with new portfolio companies. You will also participate in ad-hoc operations and supply chain projects with existing portfolio companies.
Compensation
• Base compensation range: USD 80,000.00-100,000.00
• Performance-based bonus

Responsibilities
• Pre-Investment and due diligence:
• Research, evaluate, and compare identified technologies and solutions in the field of Ag Tech, Climate Tech, and OpsTech.
• Manage and conduct quantitative and qualitative analyses of complex operational and technical data.
• Reformulate scientific knowledge into shareable learning items.
• Identify potential competitive solutions and perform comparative analyses.
• Actively participate in IP evaluation of companies.
• Communicate complex scientific, technical, and business materials with internal teams and counterparts.
• Create and manage relevant portions of due diligence action lists.
• Post-Investment collaboration:
• Support the onboarding of new investees with different teams.
• Create and follow up on action plans.
• Facilitate and coordinate interactions and meetings.
• Actively participate in technical and scientific meetings.
• Operation Support to Portfolio companies:
• Ensure operations support to portfolio companies on active and existing projects.
• Formulate action plans with the project team.
• Miscellaneous:
• Participate in shows, expos, and conferences.
• Interact with Incubators, other VC funds, and Academia as requested.
• Coordinate and facilitate project meetings and follow up on action items.
Requirements
• Master’s degree (Industrial, Mechanical Engineering) from a recognized US university.
• Experience in supply chain role, analyzing operations, identifying cost-saving solutions, and proposing implementation plans.
• Additional experience in a PE/VC context of a minimum of 18 months, delivering operational assessments and value creation planning.
• Practical knowledge of Industrial engineering and scientific principles.
