Our strategic partner has an exciting opportunity for those with a background in Software Engineering looking to Return to Work after a career break. Whether you have been on Child Care/Family Leave, Furloughed, or Unemployed recently, you will receive best-in-market software development training through the FDM Academy, before starting your new & exciting journey with our client!
The role
This is an opportunity for returners to up-skill in current and emerging technologies, to refamiliarize themselves with current industry best practices and to enhance their technical knowledge on deployments with our clients.
The FDM Returners Program Team are here to support you through every stage of the journey, ensuring you have the confidence, skills and opportunity to step back into a successful and rewarding career in technology.
At the start of the program, you will receive 16 weeks of instructor-led and project-based training in object-oriented development within the Scrum framework. The training is carried out by our experienced FDM Academy trainers and will take place online before you start with this client
This is a full-time role, where you return to work as a senior or lead Software Engineer.
Your employment with FDM will include the full-funded training and compensation for your time working at the client as part of their team as an FDM employee. After your two years with the client, you have the opportunity to transition permanently as their employee, subject to opportunity!
What we offer you:

Essential experience and criteria required:
• Looking to return to work after a break in your career
• Previous software engineering or development experience
• Be able to work full time
• Be able to commit to working with FDM for two years once the training period is complete
• Be able to work in Ft. Lauderdale, FL, Mount Laurel, NJ, or New York, NY
