Job Summary
The Vice President of Business Services will lead three critical areas of business-to-business services: Sales Engineering (pre-sales only), Implementation Management, and Retention & Growth. This senior leader will report to SVP Business Sales, with a strategic focus on ensuring a world class customer experience, in their pre-sales technical support, onboarding experience, and on-going customer life-cycle journey. Reporting to this leader will be Director of Sales Engineering, Director of Implementation, and Director of Growth & Retention, and the teams reporting to these leaders. This role will assess/build the channel’s business case and strategy and ensure the operations are performing to deliver the expanded use of all existing and future B2B products, customers receive a simple installation experience, and that base retention and growth efforts are met through a disciplined quarterly business review process.

• Create roadmap initiatives to establish net-new customers and develop anti-churn strategies
• Build and mentor a high-performing team with continued focus on employee experience, ensuring active leadership
• Assess the sales channels processes and talent to ensure the brand is best being represented, in the right communities that can drive profitable new customers to the Optimum product line
• Establish best practices and processes with current and future customers and create a positive customer experience in partnership with the business implementation team
• Guide competitive positioning by ensuring the product and brand are being positioned in the proper markets to ensure strong customer experience
• Establish disciplined data-driven workforce planning to align with the business case for the enterprise sales channel
• Direct the sales team across the Altice USA’s Optimum footprint to be visible and hands-on to both employees and prospective customers
• Strong thought leadership with subject matter expertise to drive passion, urgency and discipline amongst larger team
• Review and evolve the current the enterprise sales channels strategy, refine the roadmap, and articulate the strategy for enhancing the business sales channels to both employees and customers
• Ability to regularly be present in Altice USA Headquarters in Long Island City, NY, while also regularly being present in the Optimum field across 21 states; Travel required
• Strong stakeholder partnership across key leadership roles including but not limited to regional engagement, field operations, product, marketing, go-to-market strategy and CX
Qualifications
• BA required/MA or MBA preferred
• Minimum of 10 years business to business sales leadership and/or business performance transformation with a proven track record of consistent delivery against business plans and targets
• Must have strong consultative selling skills in complex telecommunication or technology products to mid and larger businesses
• P&L leadership and mindset with a strong track record of growth
• Proven experience building a culture of data-driven decision-making, action, and delivery
• Experience managing across a diverse and highly distributed footprint strongly preferred
• Proven ability to collaborate across technology, operations, and marketing teams to optimize and expand product offerings and solutions while driving growth and delivering of customer promise
• Demonstrated experience driving profitable growth across a multi-tiered, large geographic area.
• Demonstrated ability to urgently act on customer escalations, critical sensitivity around brand sentiment and how to drive right customer experience and retention
• Responsible for driving cultural alignment, metrics-based sales activity methodology, and a focus on profitable sales
• Proven inspirational leader who can create a winning environment and a vision of modest investment needed to improve go to market capabilities.
• Ability to work cross functionally internally and externally on a daily basis.
• Experience in broadband, mobile, cable industry or similar regulated B2B oriented business is necessary
• Proven executive presence, strategic capabilities, effective collaborator, and superior influencing skills
• Demonstrated experience developing and providing sound, data-driven guidance and decisions to senior business leadership on sales strategies and performance
• Demonstrates influential leadership with authentic motivation capabilities, and proven ability to successfully manage through transformation and change

Pay is competitive and based on a number of job-related factors, including skills and experience. The starting pay rate/range at time of hire for this position in the posted location is $200,000.00 – $237,500.00 / year. The rate/range provided herein is the anticipated pay at the time of hire, and does not reflect future job opportunity.
