Mary, Helpmate of the Redeemer: A Systematic Theology of Marian Cooperation in the Redemption

How does Mary cooperate in the Redemption? And how does she continue to mediate grace to every soul?The Church has always affirmed that Mary played a singular role in the work of salvation — not as a parallel redeemer, but as the New Eve inseparably united to the New Adam. Yet the theological tradition has struggled to articulate how her created act of love at the Annunciation can possess universal, enduring significance without compromising the sole sufficiency of Christ's sacrifice.Mary, Helpmate of the Redeemer offers a systematic answer grounded in pneumatology. Drawing on Augustine's theology of the Holy Spirit as Communio and St. Maximilian Kolbe's insight that the Spirit is the Uncreated Immaculate Conception, this study develops a comprehensive Mariology within a New Adam–New Eve typological framework.
