Job Overview
Empire State Realty Trust, Inc. (NYSE: ESRT) is seeking a Senior Systems Analyst – Networking & Infrastructure to join our dedicated team in New York City. As the Senior Systems Analyst, you will be responsible for maintaining and supporting our computer network and infrastructure across our entire portfolio. This includes following and incorporating cyber best practices in all aspects of the job.
Compensation
The salary range for this position is $100,000 to $140,000. Salary is based on several factors including but not limited to education, work experience, job location, size of property where applicable, and/or certifications. In addition to your base salary, ESRT provides discretionary annual bonuses.
Responsibilities
• Maintain the stability, security, and scalability of installed Windows systems.
• Perform daily user management within Microsoft Active Directory and Azure Active Directory.
• Support Single Sign-On and Multifactor Authentication using a variety of security platforms.
• Administer Exchange environment, including email security gateway.
• Review, manage, and maintain Windows group policies (GPOs) across multiple domains.
• Perform daily system monitoring, verifying the integrity and availability of all hardware, servers, and systems.
• Support and maintain multiple virtual server environments based on VMWare.
• Maintain computer networks, including wireless, and systems including servers, VPNs, firewalls, switches, routers, and both physical & virtual systems.
• Manage, configure, maintain, and patch servers, firewalls, switches, and other network hardware.
• Perform daily backup operations, both local and cloud-based, ensuring all files and system data are successfully backed up.
• Investigate and troubleshoot issues related to the company’s Corporate and real estate asset.
• Maintain PCI and SOX compliance through adherence and enforcement of the Policies and Procedures.
• Perform updates, patches, hot fixes, and upgrades on a regular basis for network and infrastructure hardware and software.
• Maintain telecom and VoIP infrastructure, ensuring proper maintenance and patching.
• Maintain operational, configuration, or other procedure documentations.
• Communicate network-related issues, failures, and potential impact to hardware or software to superiors.
• Support the implementation of IoT, PropTech, and building management solutions in a secure manner.
• Incorporate cybersecurity best practices into all aspects of the job.
• Perform periodic performance reporting to support capacity planning.
• Perform ongoing performance tuning, hardware upgrades, and resource optimization as required.
• Create and maintain technical documentation to ensure efficient planning and execution.
Requirements
• Must have 3-5 years of IT Networking Experience which includes:
• Microsoft Active Directory and Azure AD
• Microsoft Office 365
• MS Windows Server
• MS SQL Server
• VMWare
• VoIP Communications
• Network protocols and topology (i.e. TCP/IP, VLAN, SAN)
• Wireless infrastructure
• Next Gen Firewalls and VPN
• Following is preferred:
• Microsoft Exchange 365
• Microsoft InTune
• Switches, Routers
• IDR / IVM / EDR Solutions
• Apple Mac OS/iOS and Android OS
• Linux OS
• Web servers, including Microsoft IIS and Apache
