The Role:
Reporting to the Head of Sales, the Regional Sales Manager will enhance the Farfetch customer experience for our most valuable clients through leadership of the North America Private Client department. The focus will be placed on growing the country’s top clientele, engaging new clients and increasing brand desirability. Responsibilities include managing team members to achieve and exceed goals. You have considerable team management experience (minimum 5 years), can manage sales turnover per annum and will demonstrate experience exceeding goals through your management skills.
What You’ll Do
• You will work with the PC leadership team to establish vision and build regional and global strategy in Private Client
• You will set and manage goals for a team of Senior Stylists, Stylists and Assistants, meeting with them to review performance against set goals
• You will develop the team, providing guidance and direction to help improve their sales techniques and general client management
• You will analyze sales reports, client books and client engagement/travel budgets
• You will work on customer acquisition strategies and projects, using professional and personal networks
• You will work with the Brand Marketing team on events, brand collaborations and partnerships to attract more top tier customers
• You will promote clienteling efforts that focus on growing and retaining our top clients
• You will work with the global Merchandising team to ensure maximum knowledge of forthcoming stock availability for customer benefit
• You will maintain general level of market competitor awareness on and off line through reference to other websites and editorial, and seasonal comparative shops
• You will attend brand events to aid in the development of the business and act as a Farfetch brand ambassador
• You will maintain basic team management standards with timekeeping, expense reporting, scheduling, and new hire training
• You will participate and present during All Hands monthly meetings, North America manager meetings, internal gatherings and global gatherings
• You will assist Director in annual PMP process
Who You Are
• You have sales leadership experience in a related industry
• You have managed a team of direct reports
• You have commercial awareness with history of exceeding goals
• You have experience managing the business development process, as it pertains to sales executives and organizational/departmental goals
• You are well-versed in Salesforce and Excel
• You are highly strategic, with experience presenting at all levels
• You are able and willing to travel when necessary
$100,000 – $110,000 a year
NYC Wage Transparency Law
The pay range for this position at the commencement of employment is expected to be between $100,000 and $110,000/year; however, base pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. The total compensation package for this position may also include other elements, including a sign-on bonus, restricted stock units, and discretionary awards in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits (including 401(k) eligibility and various paid time off benefits, such as vacation, sick time, and parental leave), dependent on the position offered. Details of participation in these benefit plans will be provided if an employee receives an offer of employment.
