CIT Group, Inc. recently merged with First Citizens Bank creating the 16th largest bank in the United States with over $200B in assets. The merger is highly synergistic – combining a retail and small business focused bank with a commercial middle market focused bank. The combined entity creates greater diversity, scale and capital. The combined bank has expertise in Energy (one of the largest middle market lenders to the renewable energy sector), Healthcare (focus on facilities-based services directly benefitting local communities), Technology, Media, and Telecom (TMT), Factoring, Rail and Asset Based Lending (ABL).

The Analyst, Portfolio Manager Energy reports to the Managing Director, Portfolio Management Energy and is based in New York City.

Responsibilities
• Responsible for managing compliance items in Share Point and logging into ETT system.
• Responsible for the upkeep and maintenance of the Share Point files, including saving compliance, annual reviews, and amendments, waivers, and consents.
• Responsible for reporting including past due ETT and annual review reports.
• Assist with audits or any other ad hoc reporting required by senior management.
• Manage 2-4 low-risk accounts to gain experience on the duties of a Portfolio Manager

The base pay for this position is relative to your experience but the range is generally $65,000 to $75,000 per year. This position is eligible for variable compensation, which may be in the form of incentive, bonus, or commission pay. Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree OR
• Associate’s degree and 2+ years of experience OR
• High School Diploma/GED and 4+ years of experience

Preferred

Experience or interest in working on Energy/Power finance projects OR banking experience.
