Analyst – U.S. Application Development, Corporate & Investment Banking

WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING
Designs, analyzes and supports the company’s information technology structure, systems and processes. Acquires, designs, implements and operates the company’s information technology resources (e.g., computer hardware, operating systems, communications, software applications, data, databases, etc.). Deploys, acquires, maintains and ensures security of information technology assets. Plans and tests processes to ensure compliance with system requirements, business objectives, security standards and other technical requirements.
Responsible for designing, developing, implementing and updating electronic data systems in accordance with the needs of the company. Activities include evaluating, scheduling and resourcing development projects, investigating user needs, writing, testing and maintaining computer programs, and preparing systems documentation. Executes technical plans, system analysis, detailed design specifications, development, unit and component testing.
Essential Functions/Responsibility Statements:
• Assists in the configuration and administration of the Company’s systems or applications to ensure changes are methodologically planned, executed and verified.
• Assists in analyzing and deploying hardware or software updates and other patch management directives.
• Responds to inquiries and refers issues to the appropriate department or person, and exhibits the necessary follow through with customers and/or staff involved.
• Contribute to the implementation of all IT related policies and procedures.
• Recommends enhancements to existing software and applications to improve effectiveness.
• Configure and administer systems or applications to ensure changes are methodologically planned, executed and verified.
• Helps maintain quality, organization, and automation of software applications.
• Interacts with business areas, and systems analysts and/or business analysts to gain input and support decision making.
• Provide guidance and training to less experienced IT Specialists.
• Analyzes user stories written by domain experts and translate to technical solutions.
• Assists in special projects and tasks for the department of a diverse nature.
• Prepares a variety of routine and special reports as required.
• Escalates work issues to Team Lead or Manager as needed
• Troubleshoot incidents reported by business units or end users.
• Participates in business and technical information technology solution implementations, upgrades, enhancement and conversions.

Education:
• Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent work experience in Information Technology or equivalent field.
Work Experience:
• Information Technology, Technical Application Development, or similar experience, 3-5+ years
• Experience providing customer support for IT systems or applications., (Pref)

Working Conditions: Frequent Minimal physical effort such as sitting, standing and walking. Occasional moving and lifting equipment and furniture is required to support onsite and offsite meeting setup and teardown. Physically capable of lifting up to fifty pounds, able to bend, kneel, climb ladders.

For NYC Job Applicants: The base annual salary range for this position is $67,138-$143,750. The exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience, training, licensure and certifications and location.
