Your New Role…

The Revenue and Strategy Communications Team is looking for a strategic thinker and team player who is responsible, organized, works well under pressure and is detail oriented. The team is looking for a proactive candidate with the ability to multi-task and meet deadlines, as well as innovate and communicate key messages internally and externally. The candidate would work with WBD’s U.S. Ad Sales and Domestic Distribution teams, as well as the Revenue and Strategy Communications team. Knowledge of the entertainment landscape is preferred and excellent writing and communications skills are a must.

Your Role Accountabilities…
• Research and write press releases, executive bios, talking points and internal notes.
• Assist with developing and implementing communications strategies for both the U.S. Ad Sales and Domestic Distribution businesses
• ·Build and maintain relationships with key WBD stakeholders, including but not limited to the internal communications, network PR and streaming PR teams
• Help manage executive speaking engagements, working and interacting with executives at the senior leadership level in both the US Ad Sales and Domestic Distribution organizations
• Lead and manage press strategy for HGTV’s three annual Home Giveaway events
• Plan and staff press events, managing the WBD executives, media and talent in attendance
• Monitor news and create and distribute press reports
• Develop and maintain positive relationships with reporters and editors
• Distribute press releases, listings, tune-ins and media alerts
• Process invoices and expense reports
• Maintain and update various department and team calendars with ongoing publicity activities
• Research and Maintain press contact lists and editorial calendars

Qualifications & Experience…
• 3+ years of work experience working in communications at a major media company or agency with a solid understanding of the general media and entertainment landscape.
• Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience preferred.
• Excellent interpersonal skills; proven ability to build and maintain strong collaborative relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, with an ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
• Good judgment and ability to handle confidential information with the highest level of discretion and professionalism.
• Must be committed to the success of the team.

The Legal Bits…
In compliance with local law, we are disclosing the compensation, or a range thereof, for roles in locations where legally required. $62,790.00 – $116,610.00 salary per year. Other rewards may include annual bonuses, short- and long-term incentives, and program-specific awards. In addition, Warner Bros.
