Job Description

MZ Wallace is currently seeking a dynamic self-starter to join our team as a Director of International Sales (for EMEA, APAC, or LATAM). This position will be directly responsible for regional business development, growth, and account maintenance. This is a remote position and candidates will be considered globally.

Responsibilities
• Identify growth opportunities in new and existing markets, and develop strategic action plans to expand the brand’s global footprint
• Manage existing international relationships to optimize the business and maximize sales
• Contribute to the addition of new accounts, channels, and opportunities regionally and globally
• Analyze sales volume and selling reports, maintain in-season forecasting, and perform competitive analysis regularly to identify opportunities to grow the business
• Build regional business through market appointments, trade shows, travel, showrooms, agents, distributors, or other means
• Support international specialty and department stores in strategically planning optimal buy and in-store placement, including potential shop-in-shops
• Provide sales and marketing support to all international accounts, including hosing product knowledge seminars as needed
• Coordinate with partners and internal cross-functional teams (e.g. marketing and logistics) to support growth through creative solutions
• Partner with the merchandising and design teams to meet all international needs seasonally, including development of any account-specific product, if applicable

Skills & Qualifications
• At least 8 years of experience in international sales for a designer or contemporary fashion brand with proven track record of growth and business development (Please note region(s) of experience in your application.)
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
• Excellent communication, analytical, and organizational skills
• Proven ability to build strong relationships with partners, and provide a high level of customer service
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• A creative, strategic thinker who thrives in a fast-paced environment
• Must be proficient in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook
• Must be detail oriented and have the ability to multi-task
• Valid driver’s license and passport, and ability to travel internationally as needed
• NetSuite experience a plus
