Job Description

The role of this position is to provide sales and support to both wholesale sales and key store accounts, through field marketing service efforts and visual presentation, while increasing the corporate visibility of Tommy Hilfiger to our accounts.

Responsibilities:
• Manage team of Regional Managers, Field Operations Specialists, and Merchandise Coordinators who rotate major stores in the U.S. for Tommy Hilfiger brands. Responsibilities’ include recruitment, training, retention, and development
• Lead Coordinator team to increase sales and profitability at retail
• Set merchandising standards and floor sets for Tommy Hilfiger brands
• Communicate customer profiles, retail sales recaps, best practices, and sales opportunities to THUSA management
• Manage weekly style selling reports and monthly by door reports that are executed by the Coordinator Account Managers to THUSA Planning Team
• Institute merchandising standards with monthly updates for execution of THUSA brands
• Ensure full coverage of THUSA brand event weeks
• Analyze sales and stock reports weekly and monthly and isolate underperforming doors to Coordinators, Sales, Planning and Management
• Develop and maintain Coordinator training standards on daily job functions
• Advise SVP’s on newest competitive developments in point of sale communications, markdown actions or new product introductions to the consumer by competing brands
• Provide feedback from store visits and field representative store visit reports to sales division regarding product sales performance, quality, sizing, customer requests, competitive issues, sales attitudes toward THUSA product, sale event set ups, display, location of product
• Challenge buyers/DMMS on inventory needs, opportunities, and ideas on a by location basis
• Facilitate seasonal field meetings to provide training and information on new product
• Identify opportunities for retail sales growth at the account/store level
• Communicate needs and ideas on a consistent basis to account executives and management
• Develop special promotions to stimulate sales (GWP promotions, contests, advertising)
• Examine and test opportunities to drive sales (regional seminars, promotions)
• Identify account visual presentation needs on a seasonal basis
• Enhance solid, established relationships with buyers/DMMS/visual at the account level to further solicit visual support, approval, and execution of THUSA brands marketing strategy
• Ensure sale event strategies for major accounts including location, fixturing, and collateral
• Develop in store marketing promotions, contests to maximize sales
• Identify opportunities for further sales growth within established major accounts
• Communicate with corporate marketing as often as needed to insure follow-up and execution
• Participate in development and execution of marketing strategies with major accounts
• Identify opportunities for enhanced store presentation, fixturing, etc.

Qualifications:
• College degree; degrees in Fashion Merchandising, Marketing, Business a plus
• 10 years of experience with a minimum of 5 in management role
• Retail management preferred with background in the merchandise coordinator field. Department store experience and/or Asst. Buyer or Buyer background

• Responsible for the development with SVPs of Annual Budget and monitoring of results
• Manage overall scope of daily coordinator job functions
• Recommend merchandising standards for THUSA brands to enhance sales. Change direction when sales are hindered and standards need to be changed to reflect positive results
• Thinking out of the box with solutions to problems at store level. Holding contests, conducting seminars, etc., as way to motivate staff on brand awareness and increase sales
• Always maximizing coordinator team to utmost effectiveness by managing multiple tasks
• Improving store reporting and decreasing office time – more time spent in stores
• Ability to handle multiple brands while maintaining the standards and goals of each brand
• 50% travel within job
• Fixture installations – moving fixtures, back stock in stockrooms – able to heavy lift, if needed

Pay Range:
$165,000 – $200,000
PVH currently provides base salary ranges for all positions-on job advertisements-in the United States based on local requirements. These ranges are based on what PVH reasonably believes that it will pay an associate for their base salary for said position at the time of the posting. Individual compensation will ultimately be determined based on a variety of relevant factors including but-not limited to qualifications, geographic location and other relevant skills.
