Summary:
This role will provide direct support Vanke US CEO to maintain existing, and to develop new investor relations towards growing the Company’s investments platform. In addition to being critical partner to the US Investments, Asset Management, and Finance teams, this position is also highly visible to China Vanke HQ, partners and third-party institutional investors.
The ideal candidate has professional real estate investments/ investor relations experience in the US. This position is a fantastic opportunity to solidify analytical and communication skills, while gaining insight and meaningful hands-on experience in strategic planning and execution.
Successful candidate must demonstrate verbal/written business fluency in English and Mandarin Chinese.
Qualifications:
· 2+ years of progressive experience in real estate investments, or in investment relations capacity.
· A good understanding of real estate investment, finance, development, acquisition, conversion, and disposition.
· Solid analytical and communication skills in conducting research and presentation, including investment committee deck and other internal/external presentations.
· Fluency in Chinese language and comprehensive understanding of Chinese corporate culture and dynamics.
· Ability to produce literature and collateral in professional English and Chinese is required.
· Ability to effectively interact with institutional investors, and other US team and HQ stakeholders in both English and Chinese.
· Bachelor’s degree required.
· Authorized to work in the US.

Responsibilities:
The Primary goal of this role is to assist US CEO in maintaining communication with HQ, external investors, asset managers and stakeholders, while developing new investor relations.
· Serves as main liaison with internal relevant departments in the China Vanke group.
· Help manage existing relationships with Key institutional investors and asset managers to secure their continued investments in our US projects.
· Assist in developing and cultivating new relationships with institutional investors and asset managers to create new capital streams for our US projects.
· Facilitate discussions in building up the investment platforms for new investors, coordinate legal, tax, accounting, and other advisors.
· Facilitate dialog among investors, Vanke and Vanke’s partners to ensure smooth partnership.
· Collaborate with US teams (Investments, Asset Management, Finance) teams to assist US CEO in producing memos, presentations and other analytics for Vanke HQ and other investors.
· Provide other executive support to US CEO to facilitate Company’s strategic planning, and communication plans to execute tactics.
· This position is based in New York City, with possible travels to China.
