Your New Role

The Manager, Finance Direct-to-Consumer will support the Global marketing financial planning, analysis, and reporting for the DTC business unit. Responsibilities include, preparing the Global marketing long-range plan, monthly forecast, and financial reporting. The role will support the Finance team in executing on key initiatives across the company and department providing analysis and insight. Key partner to executive Finance and operational leadership in producing analysis to aid in decision making, including Global marketing KPIs and across regions business drivers. Supervises the Center of Excellence support staff, setting goals, providing direction, supporting, and assisting in career development plans. Knowledge of the principles and theories of finance, accounting, statistics, and other related disciplines to plan, design and conduct financial business analyses is critical for this role.

Your Role Accountabilities
• Support the annual US marketing budgets and long-range-plan across all marketing functions. Work closely with other Finance teams to present a Global consolidated view
• Prepare the monthly US Marketing monthly forecast across all marketing functions, partner with Finance teams to present a consolidated Global marketing view. Assist corporate finance with ongoing reporting needs and monthly consolidated reporting ad hoc
• Partner with International Finance to prepare and present all-in global view for Finance and business leadership. Assist in the creation of efficient financial processes, systems and workflows that allow for effective global marketing analysis and reporting
• Manage Global marketing ad hoc analysis to measure financial and operational performance and to support ongoing Corporate, FP&A and business needs. Partner with regional and international consolidations Finance to drive consistency, and collaboration across regions and teams
• Conduct and participate in meetings with business unit’s Financial and Operating Senior Management teams and other business partners to provide finance perspective on proposed operational strategies or performance evaluation of already executed strategies
• Prepare timely, high-quality, Global marketing executive leadership reporting and ad hoc analysis to enable decision making for marketing and finance. Develop models and financial analysis across marketing functions and regions
• Assist in executing company and department wide strategic initiatives to deliver on key priorities. Produce Global marketing analysis to support and deliver on initiatives. Serve as project manager across Finance teams and business partners to provide insight and analyses
• Review and validate the information in consolidated reports and financial statements. Use key business insight to assess accuracy and validity of marketing data. Support corporate Finance in obtaining necessary analysis and supporting detail schedules to support reporting
• Supervise the Center of Excellence support staff, setting goals, providing direction, supporting, and assisting in career development plans

Qualifications & Experience
• Minimum 5 years of progressive Finance experience
• Minimum 3 years of experience in a role with demonstrated leadership (led/participated in major projects/teams, provided guidance to other staff)
• Financial analysis, forecasting and budgeting experience required
• Consolidated management reporting and presentation skills with demonstrated ability to communicate effectively and make high-level recommendations to senior leadership
• Ability to manage multiple high-profile projects and work in a fast-paced, project/deadline-driven environment
• BA/BS degree, preferably in Finance, Accounting or Economics
• CPA or MBA preferred
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
• Prior experience with standard financial applications (Hyperion, SAP, Essbase or related) preferred
• Outstanding analytical skills with the ability to apply to influence and drive decision making
• Ability to collaborate effectively with a team and constituents that span multiple geographies globally
• Strong verbal, written and presentation skills; a confident communicator able to interact effectively at all levels of the organization and with a high degree of professionalism
• Strong analytical and financial modeling skills
• Quantitative analysis skills
• Work independently and adapt to the changing needs of the division.
• Good problem resolution skills, strong organizational skills, and cross-functional collaboration skills
• Demonstrated ability to effectively manage / develop staff
• Strong diligence / experience working with high volume of data preferred.
• Work well under time constraints
• Must be able to develop and implement projects
• Work independently and adapt to the changing needs of the division
• Knowledge and passion for Media/Entertainment industry a plus

The Legal Bits…
In compliance with local law, we are disclosing the compensation, or a range thereof, for roles in locations where legally required. $95,550.00 – $177,450.00 salary per year. Other rewards may include annual bonuses, short- and long-term incentives, and program-specific awards. In addition, Warner Bros. Discovery provides a variety of benefits to employees, including health insurance coverage, an employee wellness program, life and disability insurance, a retirement savings plan, paid holidays and paid time off (PTO).
